Easter Greetings from Sun City Grand in Surprise Arizona
Flowers in the main entrance to Sun City Grand clearly welcome vistiors to Del Webb's flagship community on this balmy Easter morn.
Easter Sunday 2013 was 89° in Surprise Arizona, a stark contrast to weather experienced in the east coast. Recreation centers were filled with golfers, golf carts, residents and vistiors enjoying their time basking in the sun.
This Sun City Grand resident parades her talents each holiday on these Old Man Cacti (Cephalocereus senilis). It always amazes me how the cactus is decorated throughtout the year, although the thorns are difficult and almost impossible to remove. This year the cacti resemble three Easter bunnies.
