Spring Cleaning Tips Part 3
As promised, here is the third installment of our Spring Cleaning Tips. For the next two weeks we will be focusing on the kitchen.
Whether you are thinking of getting your home ready for a sale, or you just want to get rid of the winter dust and cobwebs, our tips will help prepare you.
-
Clear off countertops of just about everything. Wipe them down & make them sparkle!
- Clean refrigerator, stove and microwave (inside and out) For the microwave, put a little white vinegar some water in a microwave safe container. Turn on the microwave & cook the water for a few minutes. Carefully take out the container of water. The moisture from the vinegar solution will make it easy to wipe down the inside. It will also help with any odors.
- Clean vents and exhaust hoods
- Wipe down surface of cabinets and drawers. – A great solution to use is a little white vinegar in very hot water & wring out the cleaning cloth very well. Wipe down the doors and trim, follow with a soft dry cloth & polish dry.
- If the cabinets need a little updating, try new hardware. Great way to update with little cost.
