There were 6 REO sales for the month on March 2013 compared to a total of 73 Kauai MLS closings or 8% of the market. Although it appears the number of REOs or bank owned property has dwindled in numbers it is not a stoppage. There are more judicial foreclosure notices being filed every month at the court house. One title company, Title Guaranty Escrow Services faithfully sends me a list of Lis Pendes Reports monthly. I have been able to track some of these in foreclosure process through the State Judiciary Website Ho'ohiki.
