Indio California, one of our most easterly city's in the Palm Springs Valley, used to be known strictly for its date Festival and agricultural bounty. Not anymore. The Coachella music Festival has put the city of Indio on the international map. City revenue from the festival has helped ease Indio's deficits, and now with the city approved extension for the festival, the city of Indio is going to become increasingly popular for home and land buyers.
The music Festival has changed the face of the entire Coachella Valley, particularly the sleepy Eastern cities of La Quinta, Indio, Coachella and Thermal. Our Eastern Valley still offers acres and acres of beautiful ranchland, date farms, equestrian estates, Miles of trails, and open space. It's a magical part of our Palm Springs Valley.
The Empire Polo club, owned by Alexander Hagan II, has been the catalyst in this monumental change which has occurred over the past 11 years… Largely due to the influx of attendees for the Coachella music Festival and the Stagecoach Festival. Thousands of people come from all over the world to hear some of the newest bands, and also some spectacularly big-name opening and closing bands .The festival runs for two weeks in April, and the Polo club begin their transformation to the site of this internationally acclaimed music Festival the day after the Polo season ends… Which was last Sunday. it's amazing to see the hundreds of employees constructing wooden sidewalks, then seen, housing tent sites, Street signs and directionals, an example of extreme organization!
Sales of land and homes both on and off the golf course are increasingly year-by-year . The city of Indio is a great investment!
