Friday Art Walk, A self-guided art gallery tour.  6 to 10pm, downtown Springfield, Mo. Features, art, live music, hands on activities at several venues. Young Christian Weekend at Silver Dollar City:   Friday through Sunday, 399 Silver Dollar City Parkway.   One day ticket prices are $58, $48 for ages 4 to 11, and ages 62 and older are $56, tax not included in any ticket prices.   3 and younger are FREE.    800-831-4386.  

2013 Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Circus, at JQH Arena on John Q. Hammons Parkway.   Showtimes are 7:30 Friday, 11, 3, and 7:30 on Saturday, and 2:30 and 6:30 on Sunday.    Advance tickets are $18, $12 for children under 12, and free to kids 2 and under when sitting on adult's lap.     Gate admission is $20 and $14, reserve sitting is $26 and $20, and VIP seating on the floor is $37 and $30.     Buy one adult ticket, get a child's ticket free.   417-836-7678 or 888-476-7849.

Clever Dancing with the Stars Fundraiser at 7pm, Clever High School on Hwy 14.    Tickets $8 in advance, $10 at the door.    417-268-5458.  

Believe in the Girls 5K Run/Walk presented by the Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland, 8am, Lot 24, 1034 E. Grand St, campus of MSU.    Entry fee: $25, $20 for ages 12 and younger, register at girlscoutsmoheartland.org/5K.    877-312-4764.  

9th Annual Cherry Blossom Kit Festival:   11am to 3pm, at Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden in Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park, 2400 S. Scenic Ave.   Kids and adults are invited to fly kites, participate in kite-decorating, origami and other Japanese crafts.    Japanese snacks will be available for sale.    The Stroll lGarden will be open 9am to Dusk.    Admission to the garden is free the day of the free festival.   Kite kits are available for $5.    417-864-1341.

There are Lots of Fun things to Enjoy Outside, Busiek State Park has an Outdoor Shooting Range and is located off 65 between Ozark and Branson, Mo. Only 2 Lanes but a great place to practice shooting.
