Ducks and geese are returning to Minnesota.

Yes, these feathered  fowl are returning and I am sure they are wondering what is going on.

Last few years they would have been laying eggs by now.

Today, theyare still trying to keep warm.

I saw a small flock this morning land on the pond.  It was still frozen and all you could see was feet and wings all over the place trying get a footing.

Well, by may they will be happier!

Maybe they are back there because it is so damn cold down here. We are still having January type weather in April.

Even the Robins seam to be lagging behind this year.  Usually see them 4-6 weeks ahead of this.

Not very good for raising a brood this year.  We wil see many of them with 2-3-4 chicks instead of 8-12

I love to see the birds coming back.  A sign of new and continuing life.
