And don't forget the self employed who need a tax break. You can sock away up to $51,000 a year now in an SEP if you are self employed, you know.

Thanks Roy, and Elizabeth I appreciate that information....  there are trade offs with any type of investment.  All income earned from the rent would go directly back into your 401k or self directed IRA.  The other trade off is keeping your funds where they are and continue to NOT have any monthly cash flow added to that investment.
