There are times in all of our lives where we drift and lose connection to our true selves. When this happens, confusion about who you are, what you need to accomplish during your lifetime become smeared. In other words, depression sets in and you forget about the divine right of personal power that has be given to you. But, once awareness in the lack of self respect and value allowed to unfold in your life is brought to your attention and action is taken to regain your spirits strength, you will overcome anything.
Alicia Keys is a true musician and poet who truly sings from the heart and sends amazing messages of inspiration and empowerment. I had the honor and pleasure of seeing her perform in person at the Barclays Center this past Friday in Brooklyn NY. All I have to say is when she sang this song live, tears came to my eyes, healing is what her spoken words gave me.
This song is dedicated to all the ladies who need to reconnect to your higher self and true spirit. You are amazing, beautiful, intelligent and powerful. Never forget that.
