Simple twists turn "PROPERTY BLAHS" into "PROPERTY AHHHHHHHHS"!

Most property owners are "emotionally attached" to their properties, and rightly so..however, it never ceases to amaze me how they can't SEE their potential property thru the eyes of a stranger, or more significantly...the eyes of a buyer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And frankly, if you're selling your property....that's whose eyes you need to objectively start scrutinizing your property thru. Take the time to literally walk across the street and stand there and objectively LOOK at your house...is it cluttered? Do I still have tatters of my fraternity flag hanging from college? or that balcony or patio umbrella...does it still like a checkered flannel pattern from the 70's? is my garden hose snaking haphazardly down the lawn and into my driveway scaring the neighborhood kids into thinking it's a giant anaconda? is my Scooby Doo mailbox with a broken flap hanging to one side really necessary?...and that broken glass in my front porch light with a bulb or two missing..is it making me look like Sanford and Son's Junkyard?  is my lawn starting to look like a Costa Rican jungle?? You get the picture...start with the "curb appeal" of your home...replace broken address numbers with shiny new ones..easily visible...replace old mailboxes with shiny new ones, replace porch lights, curl up your hoses, and by golly..PLEASE water, or resod your lawn,  put nice malibu lights along the walkway..never in solar version, lighting is too poor.
