I put away my shovel!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with WHISPERING PINES REALTY 20398180

Last week, I put away my shovel and took the plow off of the truck.

Tonight, my friendly weather man says we will get 6-12 inches of the white stuff in the next 2 days.

My wife says it is my fault.  You  know the drill...you wash your car and then it rains.

Same thing!

If it keeps looking like this I will never get out fishing this year.

William,

You're getting what we completely missed out on this year.  Barely a flake in the Seattle market all winter.  At least my kids will be out of school on time, no make up days.

I have shovels Bill but it is for only diggng dirt or sand or for potted plants.  Glad there's no snow to shovel here. Guess we could shovel some of the shells along the shoreline.  Have a great day!

A few days ago my neighbor came by and said that we were supposed to get snow that night - fortunately it was rain instead, but I'm tired of that too. I want some sunshine!

Well, at least you have a few shovel-ready jobs up there William.  That isn't the case everywhere, for sure!

It rained buckets here yesterday afternoon and into the late evening. More moisture is expected today. Thank goodness it didn't freeze last night, or I probably wouldn't be going anywhere. The mountains must have gotten quite a bit of snow. I haven't heard any reports yet. It's really needed here...so I'm not complaining. But I did have to cancel my business trip to Vail. I didn't want to fight the I n70 corridor traffic on slippery roads.

Man that is a lot of snow. Too cold for me.  Hate to say it, but I floated in the pool chair this weekend and got a nice Florida tan.

So, did you get the snow?

We were supposed to hit 75* today, but I don't think we made it. It is going (supposed?) to be in the 20-30s tonight and only in the 40s for highs tomorrow.

I love the snow but I am READY for summer. So if you don't mind please put the plow back on and chain your tires so we can have some sun -LOL!

Bill -- that is why, even though in western Washington, we have the snow shovel behind the front door -- good insurance policy.

Bill, I'm thinking you should know better than to put away the shovel this early.  And another thing, there's always ice fishing!
