Events in Warner Robins: Robert Scott Golf Tourney - April 12th, 2013
With spring finally here there are lots of great events in Warner Robins, such as the 8th Annual Robert L. Scott Jr. Golf Tourney, scheduled for this Friday (April 12th) and hosted by the Warner Robins Museum of Aviation.
When: April 12th, 2013
Where: Healy Point Country Club in Macon GA (see map below)
Tee-Times: 8:00am or 1:30pm
This year's four person scramble will include a noon lunch at the clubhouse, greens fee, riding cart, range balls, a commemorative golf shirt and an evening birthday celebration buffet. Golfers and a guest are invited to the evening buffet and celebration at the Healy Point Clubhouse starting at 6:00pm.
The tourney offers top-of-the-line golf equipment as prizes for the winning foursomes. Individuals golfers are $150, hole sponsors at $400 receive one player, flag sponsors at $750 get two players, tournament sponsors at $2,500 get four players, and super sponsors at $5,000 get 8 players.
Proceeds will assist with Museum of Aviation growth and support of the many education services it provides for the local area. Last year $125K was raised...hopefully even more can be raised at this years 8th Annual event.
General Scott is internationally known for flying a P-40 Warhawk with the "Flying Tigers" during World War II and for his best selling book, "God is My Co-Pilot". The Macon GA native is well known here in central GA for his tireless fundraising and promotion of the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins GA.
