I just want to help educate the general public on a few aspects of using a Realtor when house hunting.
It works best if you can decide on one Realtor and stick with them as long as they are doing a good job. Remember that if you have not signed a buyers agency agreement with a Realtor then you are unrepresented. It doesn't have to be my sign in the yard to show you the house. However, if it is my listing, I represent the seller but I always have the seller agree to allow me to switch to a transaction broker in the event that someone I have a buyers agency with becomes interested in the home. That allows me to facillitate the transaction legally.
