Last week I read a blog about meeting up with some of the Active Rainers in the Phoenix area from Kerrie Greenhalgh, Active Rain Community Manager. I have been with Active Rain for a few years and never made it to any of the functions but this one I went to. I have to say, I met some of the nicest people there and they are all Realtors. Its one of the first times in a room with other realtors that I thought were being genuine and none of them had their "sales" person hats on. Which turned out to be real funny becuase i didn't receive the secondary blog stating we were supposed to wear a hat. As it turns out we were all there for the same reason to talk about Active Rain and just have a good time getting to know each other.
Two people that stand out that I met are Richard Conrad with Keller Williams and Joyce Tawes with Realty One Group. I really look forward to doing a cross transaction with them in the future or just continue a friendship we started this week.
