Prices of Sherwood Park acreages dropped in March, but given the unusual jump in prices during February, it is not surprising. The number of acreages that sold March was more than double the number the previous month. With a larger number to base the average price on, the March figures probably indicate a more accurate average than in February. As we head into spring, the number of acreages sold are increasing and it is taking fewer days to sell (days on market - DOM). Spring/early summer is usually the prime acreage buying time.
