Pond Spring Village active adult community encourages all it’s residents to get out and stay active in this beautiful spring weather we will be having this weekend! The forecast calls for sunshine and seasonable temperatures so grab a spouse, child, or friend and make some memories this weekend in Connecticut!

There is always plenty to do in New England this time of year and Connecticut offers its residents plenty of options. Whether you like to spend your times outdoors admiring the spring flowers or inside at a museum there is always something exciting to do!

This weekend some great local Connecticut events are taking place at the zoo, the historic Wooster Square, and Southington high school. This weekend at the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport you can celebrate Earth Day with a “Party for the Planet”. This is a great event to bring your children or grandchildren to. The staff at Beardsley Zoo will be teaching you what to do to make the planet a healthier place. If you are in the mood to listen to some live music outside stop by the Cherry Blossom Festival at the Historic Wooster Square in New Haven. This fun spring festival offers music, food, and vendor display tables. Are you looking for something to do indoors? Check out the All American Glass Show and Sale presented by the Nutmeg Depression Glass Club. This even will be held at Southington High School and you even get a free glass idea with admission!

Whatever you decide to do this weekend we are wishing you well from Pond Springs Village in Beacon Falls, CT!
