Can't post to ActiveRain from Safari anymore. Is the problem Safari, Leopard, or ActiveRain?

Are any other Mac users having difficulty posting to ActiveRain from Safari?

Since upgrading to Leopard, or since my long hiatus of about three months from reading and posting to AR, I am unable to post from the Safari web browser. First, I was getting an error message about a Java script that was running too long, and being asked if I wanted to stop it--but it would often just lock up Safari. What??? So I disabled, through some Terminal trickery that got me a Safari Debug menu, Java script timing. So now I don't get that anymore.

The question is, is that Java script thing something new from the new version of Safari with Leopard, or some new programming in ActiveRain that conflicts with Safari? (Anyone actually working and possibly coding for AR, please feel free to chime in here.)

Anyway, when I try to comment or post in Safari, nothing happens. Nothing. Page just sits there.

So does anyone else here use Safari and Leopard, and are you having this problem? or is it just me?

Right now, I'm using FireFox to do this posting. It seems to work. But I don't like it.

David,

I have always had to use FFox to post, and was never able to use Safari. I don't know the techie explanation as to why though. I hope someone else out there does.

David,

 I have the problem also.

The error message I see on my OSX 10.5.1 is about a script running too slowly.

I'm now on Firefox but I also have an iphone and I won't be able to use that at all.

Not being able to post from Safari and from an iPhone is not cool.  I wonder if there will be an update on Safari that will make it more web friendly because I have had a few other sites with similar issues.

I switched to FireFox a couple of years ago. It's seems to be the most compatible. I still keep Safari and Explorer active in my dock. But that's only as a backup option to sites that don't support FireFox on Macs -- which is typically just lazy programming.

I use Firefox too.  I use Safari for everything else except for the MLS and ActiveRain.  The .Mac sync capabilities from the iMac to the MacBook Pro are awesome!

I think everybody has problems with this.  It's not exclusive to this website either.  I cannot use Top Producer and virtually every real estate investment software package out there!

I also will use Firefox every once and a while I'll visit a "questionable website" I don't want my wife seeing in the browsing history...  ;)
