OK, no, I'll be serious.
I concur with Scott (mentioned in your post) that you can't go by what anyone writes is the best time. You gotta know your own subscriber base. Probably for marketing yourself (which I presume since you are in R.E. sales) to a set of people who presumably know you and your name, it won't matter what time or day you send....which leads me to concur with Jon Kolsky.
Your content needs to be good. Not just good...great. Compelling and useful to your audience. Else, just don't bug 'em. Cause then your just a step better than spam. And they won't open. And you'll know, 'cause you'll see it on your e-mail services stats.
I've done e-mail campaigns to subscribers (people who know and like(?) me) and to folks that I targeted and used third party e-mail services to send to them. Time of day and day do not tend to matter when it comes to those who subscribe to me...but when you read this sorta stuff, they are talking about when it is best to hit people who don't see you as the next best thing since sliced bread....yet. Then it matters more.
For you and for now, focus on who you know, get them to subscribe to you (opt-in) and then never send them anything but stellar content and you will be fine.
Kelly, I know there are "experts" that say when the best time to send an email is, but in my opinion, if they know you, they'll open it.
Hi Kelly, That's what is good about AR, you can find out all kinds of information.
Kelly~ emails just like anything else need to be effective, and if the content is good, I believe that the email will be opened. Effective marketing starts with the content, (IMO) especially when to comes to email marketing...GREAT BLOG! and btw:"suggested"
