New Contract Forms.

Will it ever stop. Our office Manager gave us a heads up this week that there are 4 or 5  forms changing for earnest money contracts in Texas this spring.  The changes are not the end of the world as far as changes go. And as we all know today  "Change" is the new word to live by ....well according to some .

Anyway as far as contract forms, this change thing has gone on since the beginning of the real estate industry and will never cease. We just wish they powers that be would take a sabbatical for a while and let us get used  to the old forms before they decide to change again. Come on guys!

We know the lawyers and committee members at the state level are just doing their job ...but do you ever wonder if maybe they would ever just say:

" You know... everything is ok with the contract forms this year, meeting adjourned. You all come back next year and we will reanayze the contracts thenI'm outta here!"

Trey, We both remember when contracts were only one page long and so simple. And...we had far less problems then.  Well anyway, I prefer the modern ones....we can type on them instead of handwrite. We can email them, fax them....all that is great.

The good news is that as long as we use Zip Forms Online, the forms will be current.  I agree with Kay.  It is wonderful to type, email, and fax from our computer wherever we are.
