Hi Debbie, there are alot of snow, however your daughter and those photographs are beautiful. Enjoy your family vacation.
Beautiful pictures Debbie, all the snow we are getting this year is very nice, we are enjoying another big snowstorm here in Wisconsin too.
Glad you had a great spring break with the family, and took a few pics for us too!
Hi, Kwee...Thanks for stopping by. We did have fun. Even with the rain and snow. But what was more important was that we got away together as a family.
Thanks, Bob. We'll take all the moisture we can get. I hope we get a few more storms like this one.
I love Colorado. My daughter announced yesterday she wants to move to CO. I told her go ahead because then I can move there too. I have been wanting to for some time.
Hi, Debbie -- thanks for sharing the photos -- it looks beautiful and I'm glad to hear that your family was able to spend this special time together. best -- Eric
Debbie family time is so important, from the photos it looks like you had a good time.
I too love stuff off the beaten path.
Beautiful photos that you share with all of us. Family time is priceless and the down time as well.
So nice that the three of you got to spend some quality time together as a family. Great photos Debbie.
Howdy Debbie L, "Rifle Falls State Park" sounds like a wonderful destination to make memories with Sierra.
You can lead teenagers to snow but you can't make them take a picture unless it's on their terms...lol
Great Picture of Sierra with the waterfall.....
Thanks for sharing your "Spring Break" vacation with your peeps....
Debbie, It wasn't exactly the spring break you ordered but no matter what happens it is nice to be with family and do something different.
Debbie,
Rain, Wind, Snow, or Sleet - nothing stops you from sharing Family Togetherness. Your spring break adventure with your daughter is touching and beautiful!
You're a family that stays together and plays together. Your photos are beautiful and so are you.
Our memories include family stories, just like this one! I wish you many, many more!
Awesome photos even with the rain, snow, sleet and everything else, Debbie. Love the three waterfalls. I have never visited your area of Colorado except through your photos and posts. Keep 'em coming.
Glad you had a good time.
I think you forgot to tell mother nature to put the spring in spring break. Good to hear you are having a nice trip. I am leaving Sunday for our spring break and cant wait. Just hope Logan airport in Boston is running at full strength by then, may need to try to change flights now. to a different airport
Tell it like it is Debbie, great localism post you make a great ambassador for Colorado.
Debbie, mountain lions?? I think I'll stick to the wild turkey, deer, coyote or fox I see around here...most of them probably aren't looking at me as lunch!
Thanks everyone for stopping by. I didn't even think of the mountain lions when we did a bit of hiking. I guess wet legs and feet have a way of making you forget what's really important. Monday was our one day to hike and take pictures. That was the day it snowed. We spent some more time at the park on Tuesday morning before we had to head back home. I loved watching my daughter exercise her photography skills. She has a really great eye.
Debbie:
Beautiful pictures. Looks like a great way to spend spring break. Enjoy the week.
