Wordless Wednesday, Tulips 2013
Yesterday was our day to take in the tulips of the Skagit Valley. I’ve heard that outside of Holland, the Skagit Valley produces more Tulip bulbs than anywhere else in the world.
We visited the display gardens of RoozenGaarde this year. My pictures below do not do them justice.
The Tulip Festival runs through April every year.

Thanks for the comments. I took around 100 pictures this time and will post some more on Sunday. We make this trip every year, sometimes more than once. I'm not much of a gardener myself, but I sure appreciate what these guys can do.
Dan Our son's in-laws live in Bellevue. Since I spend my working hours using my brain...I love to get away into our garden and get my hands in dirt! Great pics...send more...hurry Sunday!
Oh wow! What a beautiful day to spend looking at the flowers. Love the photos! Hard to believe there are so many tulip bulbs there.... miles of them!
Wow these pictures are just gorgeous! I just love tulips but we don't see them much around here because the deer just love them too!
