Earth Day is an annual celebration of environmental protection and awareness. It comes every year on April 22; and every year it brings millions of Americans out in the warm spring sunshine to appreciate our beautiful planet. At Pond Springs Village our appreciation for Mother Earth is demonstrated through our park like grounds , where you will find a very active 55 and over adult community. At Pond Spring Village we can take in the sights of beautifully maintained landscape while we stroll the well lit sidewalks of out community.
For those who are interested in taking part of activities outside Pond Springs Community there is always plenty to do in the great state of Connecticut! This Earth Day weekend local festivities include "Riverfront Earth Day" at Hartford’s Riverfront Mortensen Plaza, Connecticut Sierra Club Wild & Scenic Film Festival, and even our Neighbors annual Earth Day Celebration.
