Priority List
Contact me with your Military Relocation to Newport News and surrounding Hampton Roads area. Together we will put together a list of all your home buying needs. I will pay careful attention to all your requirements, (his/hers and kids) and will try to include as many of your wants and dreams as I possibly can. Some times, difficult decisions between having all your needs and having the “wants,” and “nice-to-haves,” must be made. I will be there to help you through this difficult process in order for you to keep your moving deadline and to make your home buying experience as painless as possible. Prioritizing the home selection according to your “must haves” will generally leave us with a selection of 15-30 homes to choose from. These homes will have been selected to include all you needs and will have a variation of your other preferences and wishes as well.
Deadline
Now, the other deciding factor is time. Depending on when you need, or must be, in your home, your home choices will increase or decrease. If you have 3 to 6 months time until your moving date, then we can include Short Sale Homes and REO’s, (Real Estate Owned), homes. Some times these homes can still be an option even if the time frame is shorter. This is the case when the Short Sale has been pre-approved by the lender, meaning that the bank has approved the price of the home as currently listed. The only drawback there is that the price is fixed, so there is no possibility for negotiation.
The Fun starts
Based on your TOP 5, we will start touring homes. What sets me apart from other realtors is that I’ll be happy to tour the entire list of 15 to 30 homes with you, if that is what it takes to find your new dwelling. I know and understand that buying a home can often be a very emotional experience; therefore I will go the extra mile for my clients and not shy away from being available when needed most. Most realtors will draw the home touring line at 5-7 houses, where as I will not stop until your needs have been met.
