Get Your Pets Involved in Earth Day!!
This is one of my dogs that was re-cycled and saved. Her name is Corina and we love her. Thank goodness for rescue groups. She came to me from Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue.

Earth Day is a good day to look at ways to save energy as well as re-cycle. It helps if we all look for ways to do our part.
I am a huge animal lover and volunteer with animal rescue groups, have fostered dogs until a forever home could be found, have completed home visits for people desiring to adopt a pet, have helped in transporting a rescued pet from one point to another, and have given monetary donations when the time is needed.
I have also adopted dogs and cats from rescue organizations. They make the best pets for they know that they have been given another opportunity for a great life!
Well with Earth Day upon us I thought it a great idea to see how I could involve our pets into Earth day.
· We recycle, so go to the Humane Society or contact a breed specific rescue and adopt you next pet from one of these organizations. You will be saving a beautiful animal.
· Take a walk with your pets and leave that car in the garage.
· Go to a dog friendly park and enjoy your day.
· Organize a neighborhood or dog park clean up.
· If it is a chilly day take time and snuggle with your pet.
· Donate old newspapers and towels to your local Humane Society. They are always in need.
It is fun to spend time with your furbaby or furbabies and assist with making Earth Day a big success.
