This is a perfect day to show this happiness trait. Sunday is a great time to express gratitude for what you have been blessed with. Whether you choose to attend Sunday Services or not, it is still a good day to take stock of what you have. Darcy and I find that our work weeks go much better when we attend Church on Sunday, it is a nice change from the everyday routine that we find ourselves in. We also find that it is a great opportunity to think about someone other than ourselves. It is our opportunity to give thanks and recognize just how many blessings we have in our lives.
I believe that another great opportunity to do this is while you're are planning out the coming week. If we stop and take an accounting of what we have in our lives. It may help us focus our planning efforts this week and allow us to go forward with a plan knowing what our goals and ambitions are. We have a hymn that is often sung in Church that says "Count your many blessings, name them one by one, and it will suprise you what the Lord has done." It really helps us to put into perspective what is important and what we need to be working towards.
Go ahead, be thankful for the good things that you have in your life!
