"Conceige" level customer service is what I strive to provide each & everyone of my clients, day in & day out! I'd like to believe that the customer service level that I provide is one of my true points of differentiations between me and my competitors.
That being said, I'm reminded of a sales & marketing clip that was presented while I was employed as a National Sales Manager with Nabisco, Inc. We watched a clip about the clek employed with a Grocery Chain. That particular clerk bagged the groceries using simply one bag & placed the customer's eggs on the bottom on the bag with the half gallon of milk ontop. Now, no further explaination is needed as we've all been there. You get half way through the parking lot when the bag splits apart at the seams & if you're eggs weren't already broken by the bagger, then will be now. Conversely, the double bagger is the clerk that goes the extra mile. He's the one that takes great care, sets up the process of bagging your groceries with two bags. Well, by now you have the vivid picture!
I often refer to this illustration when talking to my collegues about the benefits of true customer service. In your day to day real estate dealings do you find yourself being a "single bagger" or are you the one that goes the extra mile to be considered what we call a true, "double bagger" In the day to day operations, we often banter back & forth about an agent being, a "single bagger" or even at times, a "sandwich bagger" whatever the case might warrant. The fun thing about this bantering (often about competitiors that fail to meet the most minimum of standards) is that we're the only ones in on the joke! We don't necessarily stop there. We now find ourselfs commending each other for going above & beyond. Here's the Bobby Flay throwdown, are you a "single bagger" or do you qualify as a, "double bagger" striving to be a "triple bagger" Just food for thought so to speak!
Make it a great day!
