Oh What A Beautiful Day

The sad part is that the people of todays' society would ruin more of the land thatn the good it would do.

Brenda:  So, we "opened up" the last part of the "Indian Territory"... land that rightfully belonged to the Indians, so the "settlers" could grab it... all to help end a recession.  Oh, how wonderful.  Natalie Maines was right.

By the way... do you have any land that we could "open up"... declare it "free land" and allow someone else to "settle it?"

I am not sure it would stimulate the economy by selling off government land.  Most likely a bunch of big oil drilling companies would go in there are start destroying it. The market has picked up quite a bit but there are still millions of empty homes throughout the sand states and the rust belt that are just sitting there abandonned.

There is lots of government land that could be sold pretty cheap to help our bottom line in the budget.

Future generations will want the government owned properties as parks as the population continues to grow.
