Classic Side Tables
I’m going to ask you to break up with your bedroom set! Bedside tables are a great start. They are small so could be stored easily and can be used in so many other places in your house. The good news, anything can serve as a side table if it is tall enough. A good rule of thumb is that it should fall somewhere around the same height as the bed. I like my nightstands taller than that but if you stick to that rule of thumb you will be in great shape. Remember, don’t try to match your existing furniture because it will look like you tried and failed. It is better to go in a totally different direction for your bedside table. Notice in the inspiration picture that the bedside tables are dark wood–completely opposite from the headboard?
