Home Staging in Chicago, a Blog Post Review

Here at Chicagoland Home Staging, we've been trying to be a little more regular about updating our home staging blog. It's not an easy task, however. Great staging takes time, and so do blogs. Still, there are some blogs that we've managed to get out in the past few weeks that are worth mentioning.

This blog focuses on the dirty little secrets of a homeowner's closet and how to get them whispering only good things. Here I'll give you some of my best closet organization tips as well as share a great video on closet storage and organization by Alejando Costello.

This blog showcases one of my favorite bedroom makeovers. Here's what happens when you strip the wallpaper and dated draperies and opt for clean crisp lines. The return on investment for this customer was huge. One look and you'll know why.

Here, again, we show that great home staging is more than just cleaning and decluttering. A fresh coat of paint and the proper furniture make all the difference in warming up this cold and univiting space, even in the dead of winter.

More than day to day clean, selling your home means the white glove treatment. It's more than just an attention to detail kind of thing, it IS the whole deal. Learn what we mean by white glove clean and how this can impact what buyers really think about your home.

Thank you for taking the time to read my new home staging blogs. If you are in the Chicago area and thinking of selling your home, let us help you maximize your home's equity. 815-530-3566

You did a nice job of showing how stagging can make the difference in a property sitting on the market or being sold.

hi Margaret ~ Between the quilt, the spinning wheel, and the granny wallpaper, that bedroom was living in the Dark Ages LOL!  What a great illustration of why removing wallpaper is a good thing!

Hi Noah - Yes your not far...if you every need a great stager close to you just let me know. :)

Hey Karen - glad to hear your busy as well. I can barely keep up!

Hi Maureen - How about it...:) Thanks! The house had 4 offers. The first buyer saw in before we staged it and came back after the REA insisted he come back. He wrote the offer while we were still loading our truck.
