It's simple enough really and just a fun little game to get our minds off work and safely tucked back in between the pages of our favorite books. So here is how it works:

Someone gives a quote from a viably well known book without stateing who wrote it. The next person comes along and provides the name of the author of said quote and then provides their own quote to be guessed at within the same post. For example:

Post one: "Quote" by Shellee

__________________________________________________________________________________

Post two; Author's Name & Book title of Shellee's quote + new "Quote" all by you

So if you guess the last quote given you must provide the next to be guessed at and so forth and so on!

Alright so I will provide the first quote to get things going and one of you must guess where it came from and then give us a go at guessing one of yours- good luck and have fun!!!

"One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them"

Shellee, was that from the Lord of the Rings?  It really does seem familiar to me.

I'll play as well.  I think Candy is trying to stump us by keeping it in the Harry Potter series.

"You thought you could be Mrs. de Winter, live in her house, walk in her steps, take the things that were hers! But she's too strong for you. You can't fight her - no one ever got the better of her. Never, never. She was beaten in the end, but it wasn't a man, it wasn't a woman. It was the sea!"

Jonathan has a good question - does there have to be so many other people in between your last answer?

OK you may answer as much as you like and as often but try to get the author and book right so that things don't get all confused. Also be sure to check the last post for the latest quote to guess and not the Lord of the Rings Quote on my original post!

For now someone may answer my last or Elliot's whichever you choose and then provide one of their own. Have fun!
