Dress Your Rooms with Charm and Color

Home Stager with ReStyled to Sell Home Staging New Jersey

Each time I stage a home one common theme I stick to is to let the house dictate the style. Here is a home I staged in Shrewsbury, NJ today. The home is quite large and sits on a lovely 2 acre lot. From the time I entered the home I saw the potential in this home.

But I also noticed it lacked color, charm and personality. The style of the home was country cottage. The clients furnishings were in different tones of reds, creams, blues and sage green, but there was no drama to the space. There was nothing that screamed COME ON IT AND SIT AWHILE....

After painting and repairs to the kitchen and bathrooms, accessories and furniture were added to complete the look. From large and empty to warm and fuzzy, welcome home!

Another great house!  And you are absolutely right, it has a wonderful charm about it!

It is amazing how bad the fridge looks with magnets (in your before pic).  If homeowners would only take a picture to see how it looks on photo, I think they would be surprised.

I love how the simple things make it feel so warm and inviting.  Very nice job.  Color and Charm, the charm is the "feeling" the buyers get.  You did it.

Lots of lovely things, here.  Please share where you got that fabulous kitchen floral - on the Breakfast nook.  Where the heck is Shrewsbury?  Is that within an hour of you?  Never heard of the place.  You did them proud, Phy, hope it sells for a ton!!

 much love, Jules

Hey Juliet

I had the base from my own inventory from years ago and I purchased the flowers in the Christmas Tree Shop also about a year and a half ago. I just put it all together. I keep these pieces as part of my country theme so I only used them 3x since I got them.

Shrewsbury is off Rte 35 next to Red Bank and Lincroft, talk to you soon, Phyllis

Very nicely done, Phyllis.  Are they your sofas that your brought in or did you slip cover?  The living room is my favorite, although the kitchen had an amazing turn around.  I love that they took the advice to upgrade the counter...much better!
