Today April 25th, 2013 Is National Pay It Forward Day!
Today April 25th is acclaimed to be National Pay It Forward Day, we think everyday should be. Just think if everyone did one small thing for someone else without expecting anything in return. Don't you think this world would be a better place?
It can be if we all just try a little bit and be aware of others around us. It can be as simple as opening a door for someone, or giving a stranger a smile. It's the little things that mean so much and it doesn't have to cost you a thing.
Margaret Rome posted a blog the other week about how her night wasn't going as planned and then a stranger appeared and helped out.
We just talked to clients about a roofer who was doing a neighbour's roof and so they asked if he would check theirs. He did and told them their roof was fine, but had a few curling edges so while he was up there, he just stuck them down again for them. It's all the little extra courtesies that mean so much.
The Pay It Forward movement has grown and has been travelling the world spreading the idea of just being nice to other people for no reason. You can get apps for the movement, Pay It Forward wrist bands and much more.
