Addison Addvocates are Appreciated.
One of the many wonderful things about living in Addison, Texas, is not just the opportunity to volunteer in the town's various departments and at the renowned events, but to be appreciated for doing so.
On Tuesday morning, I got a call asking me when I'd be home to receive a delivery package. What a pleasant surprise to get a box of cookies from Ron Whitehead, city manager; Stacey Love, volunteer coordinator; and Passion Hayes, HR department for the Town of Addison.
Tiff's Treats is a local, Addison cookie delivery company and their product is delicious! The box was filled with a dozen, assorted variety cookies when delivered. I'm not telling how many are left 2 days later!
If you'd like to join the Addison Addvocates volunteer program, fill out the registration form and return by mail to the Human Resources Department, 16801 Westgrove Drive, Addison TX 75001 or by email (volunteers@addisontx.govv) or in person (same as mailing address).
