Here are a bunch of fun things to do on the South Shore this weekend, May 3-5, 2013.

Tickets to many South Shore Music Circus tent summer concerts go on sale Saturday morning at 10 a.m.! 130 Sohier St., Cohasset. 781 383-9850

Green Earth FestIn Norwell, there's a Green Earth Fest at the South Shore Natural Science Center from 11-4 on Saturday. Celebrate dirt! It's free. 48 Jacobs Lane, Norwell.

In Hingham, the 57th Annual Arts Festival will feature artwork by talented area artists in many mediums — including oil, watercolor, pastels, and photography — and fine crafts ranging from decoy miniatures and jewelry to wood carvings and pottery. A Junior Show will exhibit student work. Thursday through Sunday, May 2-5. Second Parish, 685 Main St., Hingham Most events free. 781-749-1671

In Plymouth, join a celebration of artists at the Native Craft Fair at Plimoth Plantation. Native vendors and artisans from around the region will be demonstrating their skills and selling jewelry, basketry, and other handmade crafts created from traditional materials. Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Plimoth Plantation, 137 Warren Ave. Free with admission of $25.95, $15 for ages 6-12. 508-746-1622

In Plymouth, a new ice cream parlor is opening its doors at the Pinehills.

Touch a Truck

In Plymouth, Touch-A-Truck will feature emergency, public service vehicles, construction trucks and equipment, and special military vehicles (with a live DJ, dance performance, face painting and more) on Sunday, May 5, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Colony Place Outdoor shopping area in the parking lot next to Sleepy’s. Admission $3.00

In Sharon, The Sharon Youth Baseball & Softball Association is sponsoring a  spring carnival Thursday, May 2nd through Sunday, May 5th. The carnival fundraiser will feature rides, games and food. Featured rides this year include the Freak Out and the all new EXPO Wheel in addition to many more exciting carnival rides. Hi Brad -- there's lots of going on along the South Shore this weekend -- very concise list - I'd say a good time is pretty much a guarantee for those who participate in even one of the activities/events you suggest.
