Thankful Thursday-A special thank you to 3 AR friends for their help

Services for Real Estate Pros with Sharon Lee's Virtual Assistance

Good evening everyone-As many of you know AR is filled with smart, giving, selfless people that are willing to help you if you ask for it. I did that this week with 3 of Active Rain's finest and they responded with their time and expertise. For that I am most grateful and appreciative and wanted to go the extra mile and send them all a public as well as a private THANK YOU.

All three of these folks are exceptionally gifted when it comes to many things and one of them is photography. They showcase their gorgeous photos for all of us on Active Rain to admire and each of them has a real passion for it and it shows in all their photos. I love to take pics of anything except myself and with the garden and the birds it does give me changing photo ops. Trouble is while I have a passion for taking them I haven't been having the success all the time as I wanted. It has been very frustrating as I used to not have a problem.

So I have decided to buy myself a new and better camera but know very little about them. I bought my first digital about 5 yrs ago and for quite a while I could take a picture of anything I wanted with no problem but last year I started having problem with the clarity of the pics I take and it has been frustrating as I don't know what I am doing differently than I had done before.

So I called on 3 of Active Rain's finest photographers to pick their brain and ask their expert advice.  I was given a wealth of knowledge on different cameras including not spending a lot of money unless I was rich,  learn to become a master of whatever camera I chose. One other very valuable piece of advice I was given and would never thought of was it may very well need cleaning and that was causing some of my photos to turn out blurry. So now I have my homework and will be learning all I can learn before I purchase one.

So this post is my public THANK YOU to these VERY gifted, talented friends. It meant more to me than words can ever convey.  God Bless each of you. These are the 3 friends. I am thankful to each of them.

Wow, Sharon, we don't usually see the three of us THAT BIG, in a photo or a SHOUT OUT!It was truly wonderful being asked to help you. I am honored to be amongst these very special ARers and count myself lucky that it's you, William and Roy that I get to share a camera conversation with. Two of the things you can't TEACH are passion and "having an eye". Embrace them! Let me know what you end up buying.

Sharon, while I was reading this, I looked up and saw these two on my birdbath outside my window facing the lake. I shot pretty far away, so it's not as clear as I would like, plus it's late and I shot through the window, but knew they'd fly off if I got to the door.

So here it is: Raven Romance. He's preening her. Or kissing her.

And it reminds me of your profile pic!

Hi Sharon, Whew, I am sure glad I shaved off that mustache, LOL. You are such a sweet and wonderful person and anything I might have contributed to the conversation was easy to share with you because you have the instinct and a sincere passion. One of my life's pleasures is to share all I can of the way I see the universe and I share that passion with Gayle and Roy. As you so eloquently stated, the camera is the tool but what is in the eye as expressed by what the heart feels, can many times capture magical moments that have even greater significance because we all share them with others. What might be ordinary becomes the extraordinary. Thank you so very much for your friendship and the sincere compliment. I am always here for you.

Gayle-I didn't enlarge those pics when I downloaded them then put them on here they were that size. I think it is only fitting as YOU are all larger than life in my humble opinion. I will let you know what I end up getting. I am going on 5/2 for my first trip.  Have NO doubt my friend you have the talent, passion and eye for beauty. I appreciate all the help the 3 of you gave me and now I am armed with more knowledge than I would have had otherwise and that is priceless. I love that pic of the birds. They are so fun to watch with some of their habits.

William-You look dashing with that mustache. Smiling. You my friend contributed a lot to the conversation. You are very humble and modest as well as VERY selfless and giving of your time. Your passion bubbles over and I love that. I learned so much just reading your eloquent e-mails not only about what you know about a camera but your views of how you see the world with and without a camera and it was such a gift. It is easy to be caring when someone is as giving as the 3 of you were to me.  I appreciate that you are only an e-mail away. It is a great feeling.

Kim-Thank you I have much to learn but learn I will.

Alexandra-I think so too.

I am so happy the photography bug has bitten you Sharon. I have three cameras and have slowly migrated off my 35 mm. The last to do so I think in the world. You have chosen three excellent folk to listen to who practice photography all the time for advice. You have done well already up to this point so it is only going to get better from you even more going forward.

Thank you Gary-It had bitten me before but I got sidetracked by life and didn't delve as deeply into as I need to. These 3 friends helped me a lot.
