More on Slate Shingle Roves!
While driving down the portion of Nottingham by the Baseball diamonds, I was struck at how many homes have Slate Shingle's. It is amazing how old most them look, almost frozen in time since the homes themselves were built. This morning as I took my wife into school, we drove by one of the Georgian Mansions on Middlesex. Much to our chagrin they had roofer's there who were actually cutting slate to be installed. I still can't fathom the cost to have each individual shingle made, as it stands tear off roves with architectural shingles cost a small fortune to have done. So my next step is to stop and see if these roofers can give me the ins and outs on how one has these roves fixed and what kind of cost is associated with it. Wish me luck!
