Silver Dollar City's World Festbegins!!! Silver Dollar City: Each spring International entertainers bring incredible performances from around the world to America's Heartland. It's a celebration of global proportions where laughter and music are universal languages! Bee Payne-Stewart Strut and 5K, 8 AM, Mediacom Ice Park. 635 East Trafficway St. The 5K run is a timed event, routed through the MSU campus. The strut is a noncompetitive 1.5 mile walk through downtown Springfield. Entry fee: $25; $15 for students and $10 for ages 12 and younger. 417-864-1049.
