Need help!! Doing fundraiser for homeless shelter for local county and need help

Need advice on maybe even doing the homeless shelter myself.  But definitely having a fundraiser motorcycle rally to help raise the money.  Any ideas please let me know.

God bless, a homeless shelter can be a lot of work (I volunteered at one , but now
I focus on a food bank). Local media are always looking for stories, so contact every television, radio and newspaper outlet, and you may just get free publicity. Motorcycles? Harley Davidson clubs? Have you talked to the local clubs to get their input. I have seen where members have done charity drives. I have used Localism to promote a food drive.
