Real Estate sales and service: The outside looking at the inside:What is the perception!

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker

Pick up a paper, turn on the TV, listen to the radio; everyone has an opinion. I have always wondered why people will go out of their way to condemn individuals that really want to make a difference. I have helped some of the joyful occasions that can place in my career, as well as some extremely sad situations that touched my  heart dearly. We are only human. It seems that the media has come to their sense and realizes that we really a priceless service that can benefit  families and individuals. We make them money, have them happy, and they remember us for being true kindred souls that no matter what would go presevere until there satisfaction~

I often wonder what the public perceives with us they look into the basic knowledge of what we do everyday!

There was a time when the public perceived us as just someone looking for a quick buck, and then the companies that so little of nothing and get people even more mad at Realtors. People do like us now. We are business people, we are caring, we are salesmen, and we are human and have kids just like others may have.

WE are at a time when trust and security has brought back the faith of what we are really about. People helping People. The fact that someone can look up a property on the Internet does not mean crap. It takes knowlege of people that know neighborhoods, schools, areas, shopping, community involvement, and having candid questions answered. It involves trust, it involves hard work, and it involves compassion for our trusted clients and customers. It feels pretty good when someone says to us  "I don't know what I was thinking by just trying yo attack such a project by myself. It almost destroyed me. I cannot thank you enough for being there for us."

Remember there is no Crystal ball, but we sure work at it like it's karma.I always wish everyone happiness!!

Right on!  Buyers and sellers needs a professional to guide them through the process.  Without us, they have a 50/50 chance of success.

Tom, Good thoughts--I believe the public finally realizes how difficult a Real estate agent's job is--at least I hope so.

Hi Tom.  We are caring and we are human.  Buyers and sellers need to find someone they can trust-who is compassionate and thoughtful.  Real estate is a complex business and requires the services of a true professional.  The majority of people who do try to go it alone often regret it, and have to hire a professional later in the process- after they have already lost money.
