Total homes sales up 5% in Greater Fort Hood areaAccording to statistics from the Fort Hood Area Association of REALTORS®, Inc., total residential sales in the Greater Fort Hood Area were up 5% last month versus the same period in 2012, marking the beginning of the Spring Selling Season and showing a continuing upward trend. More than 208 properties were sold with an average price of $133,249 and the average days on market at 131. In Bell County, 147 properties sold at an average price of $137,420 and an average of 128 days on the market. This area remains a preferred choice among soldiers and civilians employed at Fort Hood Army Base.
