Veterans Benefits

Real Estate Agent with FrontLine Properties S48051

Several years ago when I was looking to purchase my first home, I had multiple Real Estate Agents tell me that using my Veteran's Guarantee Benefit would not help me in my home purchase.  As a first time home buyer and a former Marine I was discouraged with the information I was receiving.  I felt, "What good is this benefit, if it really isn't going to help me."

I later learned what a valuable benefit this is and how I could use it with one of the largest investments of my life.

Now as a Real Estate Agent myself...I want to be a messenger to all veterans out there who want to use the Veteran's Home Loan Guarantee benefit.  I can explain the requirements, I can assist you on filing out the form, and I can walk you through the home buying process.

Roger, Welcome to ActiveRain! I think you will find that the VA program will be one of the best as we head into 2008 and all of the lending changes. As a military spouse and agent I always make sure my military clients get all the facts of all the loan programs.

There was a time in the industry where VA was looked upon as the deal killer because of the appraisers in particular. That was our experience here in the Pacific Northwest. Much better now.

VA is a great program and hopefully more modification is coming down the road to make it more attractive.

I enjoy lending to active military and the veteran.

If you enjoy your freedom shake their hand!
