There are many fun things to do in Amarillo, but here are 3 places to visit while here.
First we have the Don Harrington Discovery Center: They offer many interactive exhibits that the whole family can enjoy. They also have light shows, 3D movies, space exhibit, dinosaur exhibits and much, much more! Their hours are as followed:
Monday: only in Summer and School holidays
Tuesday- Saturday: 9:30-4:30
Sunday: 12:00-4:30
Costs for admission is: Adult (12-60) $10.00
Child (3-12)$7.00
Senior (60+) $7.00
Under 2 years old Free
Second we have The Cadillac Ranch: This display of art was established in 1974 by the Ant Farm and the land was owned by Stanley Marsh until 2013. You can stop by while driving on I-40 and bring your spray cans and make you own graffiti!

Third we have Wonderland Amusement Park: They have 7 thrill rides which include, The Texas Tornado, Big Coaster, Cyclone, Hornet, The Texas Intimidator, Drop of Fear, and the Fantastic Journey
They have 10 Fun For All Rides which include, The Fiesta Swing, Bumper Cars, Himalaya, Sky Ride, The Sky Rider, The Pirate Ship, Rainbow, Scrambler, Tilt a Whirl, and the Wonder Wheel
They have 5 Water Rides which include, Thunder Jet Racers, The Big Splash, Log Flume, Pipeline Plunge, Rattlesnake River Raft Ride, and Shoot the Chute
They have 7 Kiddie Rides which include, Boat, Helicopter, Frog Hopper, Kiddie bumper cars, Car Ride, Merry Go Round, and The Train
Wonderland also has the Miniature Golf Course and the admission to this attraction cost $5/ person. Tuesday - Friday opens at 5 pm and Saturday and Sunday opens at 1 pm
Prices for Wonderland are as followed:
Tuesday - Thursday: 42"+ $16.95 under 41" $13.95
Friday: 42"+ $18.95 under 41" $15.95
Saturday - Sunday 42"+ $24.95 under 42" $19.95
Spectator Passes are available to any one over the age of 21 or under 36" for $5.00 (not available on Sunday Specials)
Additional tickets are $1.50 each and are to be used on The Texas Tornado, Drop of Fear, Texas Intimidator, and Shoot the Chute (these rides are not available to ride with only hand stamps and take 2 tickets per each person)
