I've lived in the Port Washington, Sands Point and Manhasset area most of my life, since 1977 and no matter where in the world I’ve travelled; “home” always offered the highest quality of life. I started my real estate career in 1985 as a licensed salesperson. I had been and still am a real estate investor, renovating houses and selling them for a profit. It didn't take long before I realized that I was my own best client and had access to properties before they were listed on the real estate market. This enabled me to acquire more properties than I would have been able to as a buyer client or investor. Between 1983 and 1987, I'd acquired and sold or retained about a dozen properties, which left me with a lot of real estate knowledge and time, to start working as an agent with clients. As a buyer/investor, I had become a market expert, like so many home buyers today, so selling real estate came naturally to me. What made it even easier was that I knew the Port Washington, Sands Point, Manhasset area intimately, and passionately relayed the amenities, which have remained the same since 1977. Our area has always offered an excellent school system, a 36 minute Long Island Rail Road commute to NYC and waterfront community. Additionally, other major perks are a choice of several upscale country clubs, yacht clubs, excellent diverse dinning, parks, museums, libraries, boating and water sports, to name a few. These assets coupled with strong aggregate real estate values, only mildly affected by market trends, have made the Port Washington, Sands Point, Manhasset, NY area a solid base to live comfortably, work nearby and enjoy lifelong relationships with like-minded peers.
As the only National Association of Realtors Nationally Accredited Buyer Representative, ABR* and lifelong local resident, I’d like to offer this quality of lifestyle to anyone aspiring to live in this area.
