Stop reading and do it

By
Real Estate Agent with Century 21 Classic Homes

Well, I keep reading about it and figure it is time to start actually doing it. There is so much new technology out there that it is just hard to keep up. First they tell me I need my own site, so I get that- actually it's a work in progress. Hardly any content. Then they tell me I need a blog, so here I am. Same problem though, I don't have a clue about content.

The nice thing I've discovered about blogs is that they don't have to be all carefully worded and professional sounding. I can just type like I talk. I love that. I am really a very casual agent anyway. I pretty much always wear jeans except for maybe my first meeting with a client.

I'm not sure what will come next rss feeds- what exactly are those anyway? Or will it be podcasts? I really can't picture myself recording my voice and whatever words I have to say (that everybody else is already telling consumers anyway) and making any progress with it.

So, you've read my first official blog (which I limited to real estate professionals). I don't need prospective clients to see how lost I am.

Please feel free to leave any hints or tips you may have, and if I come across any useful ones, I will also post them here.

Until Next Time,

Kara

This is great....I know so many people that just want to be perfect when they start....you'll never ride a horse well until you get bucked off a few times.  Nice post.
