E&O Insurance, Many just don't know......

By
Services for Real Estate Pros Insurance NPN # 13379201

E&O is something many take for granted or assume "It will never happen to ME" However an E&O claim can happen to anyone at anytime. Many Brokers many not know what is covered and what is excluded in coverage? or what their deductible is? is their legal liability included in their  coverage limits?

By the way, I have referred you to some new clients. Hope you get the call this week.

Even though I have never had an E&O claim, I don't care. I will continue to buy insurance to protect what I have worked hard for. Great post!

Frank I agree, never say "It will never happen to ME" because that is a sure sign that it will.

Isn't the whole purpose of insurance to help buffer that unlikely, yet damaging when it does occur, event? Of course we all need E&O insurance.

Frank - I really don't think a majority of people fully understand insurance and what it actually covers.

Frank, Many agents wouldn't have it at all if it weren't a state requirement in Tennessee. I on the other hand have the maximum coverages just so I have peace of mind.

George, Thanks. that is usually what happens

Mark, so true, it's there in case something happens

Silvia, I too am looking forward to Friday

Michelle, Indeed. almost 80% don't know what they are covered for

Debbie, TN is one of those rare state that require the Individual agents to have E&O as well as the Brokers/Owner
