Lake Arrowhead and Crestline: Dogwoods in Bloom
The mountain forests of Lake Arrowhead and Crestline are all decked out in white again and looking very beautiful.
It's the Dogwoods!
Not snow this time...If you have never seen a stand of dogwoods in full bloom then you are missing out on one of the most beautiful sights in this world.
If you have been thinking about a trip up to Lake Arrowhead and Crestline in the San Bernardino Mountains, now is the time. Everywhere you look you can see the lacy white flowers dancing in the breeze. The forest floor is also decked out in purple; the pretty wild flowers of the Silver Dollar plants are coming up from winter hibernation. They are best seen going out Crest Forest Road in the Cedar Pines Park area.
If you would like your very own patch of Silver Dollars and Dogwood trees, check out this cute clean cabin on Bowl Road in Crestline. It is ready for you to enjoy. It has a newer deck, a fenced yard, good sized country kitchen and a roomy living room with a cathedral ceiling of knotty pine.
Come and visit us a mile up!
