WHAT'S THE WEATHER?? 78 AND SUNNY vs. 28 AND SNOWING.....Showing Property....

Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty of Jupiter

WOW!!  EVERYTIME I GET OUT OF THE CAR TO SHOW PROPERTY I THINK OF THE REST OF THE COUNTRY!!  WOW!! HOW LUCKY AM I TO BE IN 78 AND SUNNY SOUTH FLORIDA!!

Whenever I have a "MOMENT" about the declining real estate market, I think of the WEATHER! I instantly think HOW LUCKY AM I?  I get to show properties in their best light (almost always sunny days with warm breezes) and I don't have to deal with coats, hats, scarves, boots, icy roads and all that jazz.  Agents in the rest of the country are trying to show properties in the snow, ice, sleet, hail, bleek days, dark skies, etc.  How do they do it?  They are DEDICATED for sure!

Now, having said all that, it's still a tough market and a WHOLE LOT TOUGHER FOR A LOT OF US! HATS OFF to all the agents in the bad weather zones of the country!  Hang in there, spring is on the way.............

You post made me laugh.  Two days ago I had a closing 30 miles form the office.  32 out and the weather was changing between rain and ice-rain.  Cars were in the ditches and tow truck lights were flashing every other mile. My clients happy we closed but what an ordeal.

This winter doesn't seem as cold to me, snowy yes, but milder.  Last February I remember a showing on a 16 degree day during an ice storm!  Luckily the buyers didn't cancel on us  :)
