Rainy Saturday - What to do?

A rainy Saturday is an understatement!  It has been a steady rain storm since early this morning.  

In fact, the weather forecast is not very optimistic for tomorrow either.  Fortunately, I had heard the forecast yesterday before I ran a couple of errands.  I was shopping  yesterday when I saw these beautiful, red, ripe strawberries.  So today on this rainy Saturday, I will be making Strawberry Jam.  I love spending time in the kitchen and making jam on a cool rainy day will be just the activity for me.

Hi Kathy, I love rainy days, especially, if I do not have to go anywhere. It gives me an excuse to knit or bake, if the rain happens on my off days, otherwise I get a lot done on my to do list.

But your idea of strawberry jam, sounds like a great idea, if only I knew how!

Kathy, Do you make freezer jam with the strawberries? I had 3 delicious strawberries form our garden just this morning! The Ironman was today and we were prevented from driving into town for most of the day, so we worked in the garden and I wrote several blogs for next week.
