Negativity is baaaad.

Real Estate Agent with Charles Reinhart Company

I've only been a Realtor for two years.  Yes I came into this knowing it's a down market.  But really what better way to learn real estate than in a down market.  The only way to make that phone ring is to get out there and find the buyers and the sellers.  My work load has been increasing every month.  This winter has been my busiest time.  Every day I get a lead.  I love it when agents come into the office at 10:30 and leave at 2 for the day and complain about how bad it is as an agent.  You just have to ask yourself why I'm not getting business.  The first place you have to look is how much time I invest to make my business work.  It's not so baaaad

Good for you Jeff! I do believe you'll get out of it what you put into it. Sitting in the office isn't going to bring in leads. Getting out there, marketing oneself, meeting people, and being in the right places at the times are things we should be doing every day. You're right, negativity is bad, but positivity is all good!

Good for you.  As a young man you have plenty of time to establish yourself and make good clients for the future.  In my office, the busiest agents are the ones who have clients going back 20 years.  But agents like you, and me (only three years licensed) need to get out into the field to make it.  Personally, I prefer the field than the office anyway.  PS  This is my second carrier, after 45 years in the pressroom.  Good luck to you.

It is called WORK and some agents don't want to WORK, gone are the easy days. But, you can make it with a great work ethic.
