Thinking of retiring to a more peaceful community? Sun City California is the place to consider. Sun City is a small senior community, mostly all 55+ housing, and has an entire Sun City Civic Homeowners Association over the entire area. This ensures that only seniors are allowed to purchase homes.
Sun City is comprised of homes built in the 60's and 70's, and to my knowledge, there are only 2 or (maybe) 3 floorplans in the entire area. Cute little 2 bedroom homes, and many of them are right on either a golf course fairway or a greenbelt.
Everyone toots around in their golf carts, and meet at the clubhouse for a swim, shuffleboard, lawn bowling, or whatever.
