What Is Keller Williams RED Day?

Keller Williams Dallas RED DayKeller Williams agents know the importance that the community plays into their business. That is why Keller Williams agents across the country shut down their offices and businesses for one day to go out and give back to that same community. It is an important part of the Keller Williams culture, and one that most agents are very passionate about. RED stands for Renew, Energize, and Donate. In 2011, over 35,000 Keller Williams agents across the US volunteered over 192,500 hours of community service in the communities that we work, live, play, and love. This equates to over 95 YEARS, volunteered in a single day.

RED Day isn't about cleaning up a park. It is a one-day expression of what happens 24/7 in the Keller Williams culture. It is seeing a need, discovering who can meet that need, and then getting it done. Each Keller Williams office picks and organizes their own RED Day project. This allows each office to decide where their services would best suited to help the most possible people for their own community.

To get an idea of what RED day can mean to a community, here is what my office - ONE office out of many located in Dallas - accomplished for our RED Day in 2012:

Keller Williams RED Day will be taking place on Thursday, May 9th. Our office will once again be donating our time and services to the North Texas Food Bank to help serve our community. If you would like to help our cause, we invite you to join us. The North Texas Food Bank is located at 4500 S. Cockrell Hill Road in Dallas, TX 75236. We will be getting started at 9am sharp!

If you are unable to make it, you can still help out by donating. $1 = 3 meals for the needy families in the Dallas area. Click Here To Donate
